Biosketch

I received my Ph.D in mathematics (measure theory) from University College London in 1974, under the supervision of Professor C. A. Rogers, and the D.Sc degree from the University of London in 1988 for work in measure theory and convex geometry. My current position came after a wandering career at various universities and research institutions in England, the United States, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Germany.
